Jessica Nilsson ~ Sweden
Jessica Nilsson is an investor at venture capital firm Northzone. To date Northzone has raised seven funds and invested in more than 100 technology companies. Jessica focuses on the digital and consumer sectors, with her special passion for ecommerce and marketing. Her portfolio companies at Northzone include Klarna, Outfittery, Lesara, Fyndiq and Matsmart.
Before joining Northzone, Jessica co-founded HelloFresh, the global meal kit delivery service with market-leading operations in seven markets. At HelloFresh, Jessica was Global CMO and spearheaded the global marketing operation, growing the business from zero to $ 50 million in 24 months. Today HelloFresh is serving over 7.2 million meals per month to its subscribers.
Jessica comes from a strategy-consulting career and has worked at L.E.K. Consulting in London and Los Angeles.
Jessica is a board member of Swedish Private Equity & Venture Capital Association. She is also on the board of Outfittery, Lesara, Fyndiq and Matsmart. Furthermore, Jessica is on the Advisory Board of Stockholm Innovation & Growth (STING).
Jessica has lived and worked in the UK, USA, Germany and Sweden. She has previously played for the Junior National Team in Handball. She graduated with a M.Sc. degree in Economics and Business from the Stockholm School of Economics.
