Stina Bergfors ~ Sweden

Stina’s career has progressed fast in the Swedish media world. She started out as an advertising salesman for teletext on TV3 in 2000 and continued as a project manager at the media agencies OMD and Carat.

At the age of 33, she took over as CEO of Carat and by 2008 she became manager of Google Sweden. Under her leadership, the number of employees at Google Sweden grew from around 15 to over a hundred. After five years as head of Google Sweden, she left the company to start United Screens, an online television company with Youtube as platform.

In 2010 she was elected to the board of directors for TV4. In 2008, she won first place at the Publisher’s list of 101 Swedish super talents. In 2013 she was ranked number 31 on the Publisher’s list of the industry’s 125 most powerful women and also the most powerful media manager on the list.
